Google finally renamed its popular source-grounded research tool, NotebookLM, to Gemini Notebook. If you’ve been following and/or evaluating and using AI tools, you’ll welcome this move as it consolidates Google’s AI offerings under one brand. While consolidating branding and messaging is great, another takeaway from this action is the mention of ‘Google’s most capable Gemini models.’ That’s important because Gemini users can now expect to see more of a future-looking integration roadmap from Google Gemini. As a Gemini user, I don’t have to wonder ‘what’s next’.
